New Planting Experiment

So after going through "Promotion Day," I realized that my plants have been touching the ground.  Unfortunately, this may invite all sorts of bugs and disease not to mention what might happen if the gardener gets too close with his trimmer!

I'm happy to report that I have some tomatoes already starting to grow, but I want to make sure that this and future plants are safer.




To alleviate this I bought the Vigoro tree ring hoping that it would do for my tomato plants what it claims to do for trees.  (I actually bought one of these for my lemon tree a few years ago and it is doing wonderfully.)
