AeroGarden - Week 6 (Final Week)

Well, what more can I say?  This week has been even more eventful than I could have ever imagined when I first bought the wonderful AeroGarden by Miracle Gro.  To begin with, I never thought that I would actually like a Miracle Gro product; but this has far exceeded my expectations.

Putting It All Together

So as you can see above, I've finally put all my seedlings in pots outside.  Now, I do realize that this will hinder their progress a bit especially since the babies have to fight through soil now instead of just water, but as long as they get through the transplant shock, I don't mind their steady progress.

Above you can see that the other three herbs are doing quite nicely.  Although, I will need to move them to a sunnier place - perhaps inside the greenhouse - because they are leaning towards the sunlight.  You can't see from these pictures, but they are under a shade which is what I use to protect my shade-partial plants.

The Kratky Method

I don't know if you've heard of it, but there's a phenomenon sweeping over the gardening world and its name is "The Kratky Method."
Well, this is a method I am very interested in learning more about.  As you can see from the video, it's a very simple and "duh!" provoking concept.  This should change my concept of gardening as much as "watering from below" did years ago.

So What's With The Title?

It's not what you think. I'm not thinking of hanging up the keyboard when it comes to garden blogging. I'm simply no longer exclusively blogging about the AeroGarden and hydroponics. So while I will be mentioning my hydroponic results from time to time, I will now be dwelling on all of my wonderful plants.
